you to participate in the 1st Annual Tribute to Black History
Month scheduled to be held Sunday, February 24, 2008 from
4:00pm-8:00. Adults and children are welcome to attend.
LeBreShé has partnered up with Queen Beatrice Entertainment
in a collaborative effort to unite families and communities
to celebrate life, increase cultural awareness, and empower
our youth. This year’s theme—“Youth Empowerment
and Cultural Awareness was developed in response to the lack
of cultural knowledge in our communities. We will have live
entertainment and black international foods.
Tickets are currently on sale and may be purchased in advance
online or from The Brat Shack 830 Merrick Road, Baldwin NY

Developing a taste for healthier snacks ie; 100% juice, graham
crackers, etc.
The importance of drinking water
Two minute meditation
Stretching and breathing exercises
How to use playing tag and jumping rope as exercise
To Express Their Unique Creativity
Arts and crafts
Singing and dancing
A group performance demonstrating all the skills they have learned
The Program is for girls from 4 to 15 years old and it is
held at The Brat Shack on 830 Merrick Road, Baldwin, New York.

The program is under the direction of Angela Williams-Hunte.
Mrs. Williams-Hunte is a wife, a mother of a 6-year-old daughter
and a Licensed Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience
working with children. Angela believes that girls can have
so much fun while they learn the basics of good etiquette
and the value of friendship.
