Every baby born is
a special gift from God and every baby deserves a special welcome
into our world. Start with your Baby Shower! This allows
everyone to share with you the joy and excitement of welcoming
a new life into the world. A newborn is a bundle of joy
and a symbol of love and happiness, and the baby shower is a special
opportunity for friends and family to join in on the occasion.
There are several steps
involved in planning your shower so we've listed a few things
to get you started. Check out our favors, we ensure that your
needs are met providing superior quality and elegance for every

These are just the basics, but before you get started with your
planning you must determine your budget. Download our Free
Budget Guide to get stared. You will need to know the number
of guests, the venue of the shower, your menu choices, the type
of party favors, and how many game prizes you will need. Traditionally,
baby showers where for women only - now adays, it is perfectly
acceptable to include the father-to-be and other male friends.
Currently referred to as Jack & Jill Baby Showers. Keep in
mind when your having men and women it increases your guest list
quickly. Location and food are typically the biggest costs.
Invites
You will need to obtain a complete list of
everyone that should be invited, it would also be good to get
any special gift item requests or ask the mommy to be to provide
your with a gift registry for her favorite stores. Registries
help the guest by provided options and the mommies to get just
what they need and want.

You may invite guests by text messaging, telephone or email
only if you know for sure that they check their messages regularly.
Although traditional practices are to send written invitations
at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance, if RSVP are needed allow an
extra week.

Games & Prizes
Remember to have enough prizes for the winners of every
game! Tip: Presentation
counts, wrap prizes with tissue paper or cellophane and added curling
ribbon gives a great look. You can also display them in a baby's
bath tub and put on focal table.
Baby Memory Game
Make sure every player has a pen and paper first. Then
display up to ten different baby items on a table for one minute.
Then give the players three minutes to list all of the items.
Be sure to include something small and forgetable (ex. safety
pin or a nose blower)
Dress the Baby
Get two stuff animals or a baby dolls and two sets
of baby outfits and some pampers. Set up two teams and do a
race. The first to successfully dress the baby wins.
Don't Say BABY?
Each person is given a clothes pin at the beginning of the
shower. Everyone is then instructed not to say the word "baby."
If you do say "baby", the person who catches you gets
all of your clothes pins. The person who has the most at the
end of the shower, or a set time wins!
